ACI Laboratory Testing Technician Programs Overhauled!
ACI is excited to announce that newly-retooled ACI Laboratory Testing Technician certification programs will be launched January 1, 2008. This realignment is the result of several years of work by ACI Committee C 620, Laboratory Technician Certification, to reduce content overlap between each program, reduce the number of test methods covered by each program, place the test methods into more logical groupings, and address the differences between referenced ASTM and AASHTO standards in selected programs. For descriptions of the overhauled programs, click separately on each of the following program titles:
ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician
ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level 1
ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level 2
ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician
ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 1
ACI Aggregate Testing Technician - Level 2
2008 edition workbooks will be available in advance of the January 1, 2008, launch date to assist individuals in preparing for the ACI Certification examinations.
Individuals who initiate the certification process in the retiring laboratory programs before January 1, 2008, may continue participation under the retiring program policies, though no new candidates will be admitted to those programs after December 31, 2007.
